New services in Gayndah

  • June 2018, availability of licensing services have increased to 5 days per week in Gayndah at the Queensland Government Agent Program office.
  • Gayndah Queensland Government Agent Program is the 27th office to take over services previously managed at the police station.

Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road and Urraween Road intersection

  • $12.5 million intersection upgrade completed in November 2017 to improve road safety and reduce the intersections high crash rates.
  • Construction included traffic signals, bicycle lanes, controlled pedestrian crossings and dedicated turning lanes.

Australian Road Safety Awards

  • Road Safety Manager (Southern), Wayne Crofts received the Encouragement Award for delivering road safety presentation for local seniors groups.
